okay, but what’s the count? hundreds, thousands?
and what am i forgetting about reading graphs when i’m seeing 2 sets of disparate numbers on each side?

Hrmmm… I don’t actually know why there’s two sets of numbers. I’m guessing that there’s no multiplier, though; the peak is probably 800. (Or 200. Or somewhere in between.)
I say this because the top of the graph for the “recumbent” mood is “12″, and it’s hard to imagine 120 or 1200 people being “recumbent” at once. :P

yeah, but only 800 people being shocked in regards to the bombings? that seems awfully low, considering the number of lj accounts.

How consistent are people about logging their moods, though? How many moods are there to pick besides “shocked”? And of course, one can’t rule out that there’s a flaw in their data-gathering process.
