Two Sunday mornings in a row now, I’ve wandered around town looking for Joan so I can buy some turnips. No show both times.
Has anyone else ever found her? Where?

I believe it is between 8 and noon she roams on Sundays. Otherwise, she hides herself pretty well. I have lucked out a couple of times and she has been right by my house when I start, but sometimes it takes me a couple of laps to spot her.

OK, but she *is* out in the open and not in the back room of the museum’s bug display or something equally obscure. Well, I’ll find her next week, then.
I’ve only learned one emotion from Dr. Shrunk for the same reason - who has time to hunt for these people?

Yeah, but I have time travel in my town. :) Our Animal Crossing clock got set a day ahead of our system clock somehow, and if there’s a way to change it back, we don’t know it.

can’t you just go into your DS setup and change the time and date of your clock?

When you are in the room just about to pick a character before you start, choose the phone, then choose reset clock. Set it forward or back a day and then start. 1 day in time traveling is not going to ruin anything…that we know of….mwahahahahahahaha

*That* was it! We were walking up to the phone while a character was loaded. We’d decided that you only got to change the time once, and then it was locked to prevent further time travel.
I’ve read, though, that turnip prices will never go above 100 bells once you change the clock, so I’m going to complete a sale or two at 500 bells before I change it. Anyway, thanks for the tip!
