He then turns it around on her, and asks her if she loved her father. When she says yes, he asks her to prove it. Of course I don't think people who don't believe in God are "wrong" - my girl, for example, are one of those people. For those who do, however, asking for proof is just like my example, where you ask for proof that you love somebody. Some things you can "know" but not prove.
