Nice! I'm hoping my Hyundai Elantra goes farther than my Dodge Intrepid. I bought my Elantra with 59,500 miles on it and it just passed 70,000 miles, and is still running well. I bought my Intrepid with 85,000 miles and it had various problems and I gave up on it when it had 140,000 miles on it.

A Civic is definitely a smart choice for a car, especially if you're buying new. They're well-designed, very practical, and have high resale values.

He actually has a drum set already, but it's in storage because there's no space in his room. We should really get it back out.

Hi, Bob,

Heh - it is indeed Micro-ISV: From Vision to Reality. And please don't be offended by my procrastination; it's one of many books that I intended to "get to when there's a lull". Yeah, right, there's never a lull. :)

I should alert you that the first of the aforementioned frameworks (http://jay.mcgavren.com/zyps) is already open-source (LGPL), something I believe I heard you discourage on a podcast. I believe I can still monetize it (probably through closed-source games based on it), but I'll have to figure out the details.

Read the book Jay! Seriously, I think I'm the author of the book you're talking about and I wrote it for fellow developers who had enough of writing software for mind-numbing companies and need some direction on how to get started.

Ben is absolutely right: the better your product (both code quality and how it fits the needs of your customers), the less it takes to support it.

But you've got to make the effort...

Nice.

Please don't name a Ruby library after it, though. We already have rak and rack. It's confusing enough.

Yeah, I uninstalled it long ago as well. Just couldn't stand it any more.

I haven't gotten to play with the demo much, but I'm extremely impressed (if for no other reason than you got it working in a browser). I'll give my full impressions once I've had a chance to really try it.

Well, I've deleted the beta and am back to Enso 1. I just can't get used to that extra Enter.

While waiting, I made what I like to call an Interface Demo. It's a <a href="http://www.schuderer.net/experiments.shtml#ensoid" rel="nofollow">simulated Enso</a> written in JavaScript, complete with scratch pad and all. Share and enjoy.
