So with explorer.exe gone, Windows-R simply plops an “r” into the current window. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve done that today, instead of CapsLock-“open shell” like I’m supposed to be. This is going to be a hard habit to unlearn.
Someday, when all my scripts are reimplemented as selection processors, I’m going to laugh at how quaint all this seems.

Read more...Aza Raskin mentions in his Google talk that he often demonstrates killing explorer.exe and running off of just Enso… Seems to work pretty good so far, exceprt for the annoying hole at the bottom of the screen where my taskbar should be.
Been playing around with their Developer Prototype, but I’m having a lot of grief so far getting it to work with Ruby XMLRPC. The demo on the Wiki works fine, but I get communication errors with my own stuff. I’m sure I’d be done troubleshooting already if I had more time available…
